This is a special order acrylic console with Greek key detail and a mirrored top inset in a silver leafed frame. The inspiration for this custom piece was a vintage acrylic cocktail table with Greek key legs. Our client, Ellerbe Somers Design, wanted the Greek key detail in acrylic but also a transition to a mirrored top for a more practical serving surface. As the solution, we created the silver leafed metal frame in which to inset the mirror and to attach to the acrylic sides. Everything was produced in our studio.
We made the lamps with custom contour acrylic bases to match the ceramic bodies.
