This antique Blackamoor figurine was given to us to convert into a lamp. We designed a custom base with a contoured inset to match the bottom of the piece (see lower image). Next, we applied an aged gold leaf finish and added the figurine rod and hardware. A soft cream empire shade was the finishing touch to this lovely heirloom. It now accents the figurine and makes a stunning lamp for our client’s room.
